Hum, I've been sending away for a lot of free stuff in the mail. (Hey, I got free fiber today! -_-) This seems like a better offer than most. 3 free tealight candles - your choice of scents. It's probably best to do this soon before they decide to stop giving them away.

I suppose I should say something besides go get free candles... Woo hoo! No more midterms! My last one for Biochem was today. I didn't really get enough studying done because I worked at the Raptor Center on Memorial Day weekend. There were ten babies that supposedly all needed hand feeding @_@ It does make me think again about having kids but I doubt I'd have that many of them at a time. And I don't think preparing meals would involve skinning and gutting their food. Good old-dependable milk.

Here's a picture of the albino Western Screech Owl, Cricket. When he's taken outside he has to be in the shade so he won't be exposed to direct sunlight. (By the way, he's sitting on my hand during this picture.) Isn't he cute?

Because I rather write my one-page article summary tomorrow. Too bad because I was going to save this for Friday night to do.

Someone already took the toothpick bridge thing so I'll go with state reports. Nasty candy making, hall patroling, etc.  Cheerleading?

Is that equivalent to freshman year high school? If so, hmm, I think it was spent waking up obscenely early for Bio and being absurdly shy. Nothing too different from now.

First year living on my own. Great bonding time with Christina and hard transition period.

Yesterday
Ran around like crazy for things that weren't even school related. Got pooped near by some green diarrhea dog. Took several radiographs and wondered how much exposure am I exactly getting each time. Studied two hours for my midterm and ended up sleeping early.

5 snacks I can't live without
Sunflower seeds
String cheese
Pomegranates - or is that too healthy?
Chex Mix, although I actually just like the Chex
Fruit bars

5 songs I know all the words to

Haha, too many for my own good.
Frank Sinatra - I Get a Kick Out of You
Gwen Stefani - Cool
Kelly Clarkson - Since You've Been Gone (I refuse to misspell it)
The Beatles - can't pick one
Outkast - Hey Ya

5 places I'd run away to
Methinks I'll copy a bit.
Family's house
Friend’s house
Huh, any other place wouldn't be for forever, more like a vacation.

5 things I'd never wear
Suspenders
Ugg boots
Mini-skirt, and no, what I have does not count.
Tutu
Nightcap

5 favorite TV shows
CSIs
Arrested Development
Murder She Wrote
House
And I'll just stick anime in here: One Piece, Naruto, Bleach (to an extent).

5 favorite people
Mom
Chris
Alvina
Alicia
Christina

5 bad habits
Procrastination (it's what I'm doing now)
Overthinking/worrying
Falling off the face of the planet
Disorganization/messy, i.e. leaving the CD out of the case...
Timidity

5 biggest joys
Love
Good surprises
Helping to save a life
Being done with school
Reconnecting with friends

5 things I can't live without
People
Sleep
Anime, books, movies
Communication
My car and bike

5 things I could do without
All the junk in my room
My landline
Ignorance
Anxiety/paranoia
Did I mention all the junk in my room?

5 people I tag to complete this
Leecia
Amy
Jen
Tina
Nelly

Bwhahaha, I finally found that paper art thing I've been looking for. And there it was on the school website all along. Anyway, seems like a neat thing to check out.

Paper Pushers!

Is anyone going home this weekend by the way? ^_^;;

I know it's been like a week since I've been tagged but I'm getting to it. So it has been forever since I've actually looked at the Xanga format. Verrry interesting. And yeah, that link was to look at the cover of the Guide for moi.

5 Weird Habits/Facts about Me

Haha, do you really want to know?

1. Despite me being a perfectionist when it comes to doing work, it doesn't carry over into the cleaning respect. Not the dirty, filth kind but just in the messy sense. I wouldn't say I'm a closet slob because if you've visited me often enough you'll know. In freshman year, I'd say you could compare my half of the room to Alicia's. But although things seem to be in a disarray, I maintain that I still can find anything I need. It might take me a while but I know where stuff is in general. I'm not sure I come off as meticulous or whatever but I think any of you'd be shocked by the condition of my room in SF. What middle of the room? Haven't seen it in years...

2. I'm an only child. Okay, that's not weird enough per se. I just think there are especially odd things I do as a result of being by myself for so long. And yet when I am by myself on the weekends or for extended periods of time I get lonely. It's two many years of being around people. Hum, must be a human thing. Okay, I'm not sure how this one really counts but 5 things turns out to be a lot. Uh, well when I grew up I hung out with adults more, which is why I know obscure pop culture references and old stuff. No wonder I often get strange looks when I'm quoting movies.

3. I had three driving permits before I got my license. Techinically, I have been driving since freshman year in high school but there's nice public transportation in the City. And since I'm sure it's on record somewhere I'll admit I failed my first test because who knew that was a one-way street??? Foolish me, my driving instructor had taken me on the Daly City course but nooo only Fell Street was open so yeah tried it on the busy streets. I think I could make another paragraph on my driving habits but then maybe I'll let those of you find out mooohahaha.

4. My mom's family is huge. You could say my grandparents were making up for that one-child policy. My mom has 7 brothers and 5 sisters. She's number 12 of 13. So I have tons of cousins sprinkled here and there all over the country. It's hard to get to know all of them though especially when they're up and married and having families on their own. I haven't been to an official Lue Family X-mas party in years. Even when I was in high school tsk tsk. But I do see my aunts and uncles regularily. My dad's family is relatively small in comparison. Just my 3 aunts and 1 uncle. If any of you went to Lowell, you might know my cousin Jamie Wong. Although there were two that were in the year before us.

5. I volunteered at the SF Zoo for about 6 years from when I was 12 to when I graduated from high school. I tended not to advertise it but I kinda wish I had brought more people to see stuff behind the scenes. But if you go to the Children's Zoo and then in front of the ARC (near the meerkats and prarie dogs), then you'll see this cutout thing to stick your head in. I'm the body on the left that's holding a snake. And yes, I did hold that snake for the picture. So sweet, as long as they keep it there I'll be immortalized at the Zoo. AND if you walk up really close to the ARC to the front entrance, then you'll see me in a sign picture with my eyes kinda squinting closed. Baaad picture of me, Scott, and Sky from when I was on Nature Trail. I don't really remember the picture being taken but there you go. *sigh* I had good times at the Zoo before it all changed. I bet they even thought I'd stick around longer but I suppose I got slightly disgruntled at the end.

And now you know a little more about me or got a refresher. No tagging from me because I'm not sure if anyone actually reads this.
